Exterior · Decks & Patios
Outdoor rooms, not afterthoughts.
Decks in cedar, ipe, and high-end composite. Patios in flagstone, porcelain pavers, and poured concrete. Built as outdoor rooms with the structural detail and finishing care of the rooms inside.
What we handle
Wood decks
Cedar, ipe, and other hardwoods with stainless or hidden fasteners, proper joist spacing, and finishing that holds up to the GTA climate.
Composite decks
Trex Transcend, TimberTech, and other premium composite lines. With proper substructure, hidden fasteners, and clean fascia details.
Stone and porcelain patios
Flagstone, dimensional limestone, and large-format porcelain pavers, set on a proper base with drainage planned underneath.
Roof decks and rooftop terraces
On condo and townhouse roofs, with proper structural review, waterproofing tie-ins, and pedestal systems where required.
Outdoor kitchens and entertaining areas
Built-in barbecues, refrigeration, sink, counter, and seating that integrate with the deck or patio rather than sitting on top of it.
Notes from the GTA
- Permits are required for any deck over 24 inches above grade and for almost any covered structure. We file the application.
- Hardwood decks need oiling on a schedule. We tell you what that schedule is.
- Porcelain pavers on pedestals over a flat roof are extraordinary and demand careful waterproofing review with the roofer.
An outdoor room earns its place in the GTA between May and October. Build it to be worth the wait.
