Drywall is the layer everyone notices and almost no one praises. Hung tight, taped without dips, sanded without snowstorms, painted without a hint of seam. That is the standard.
What we handle
New drywall
Hang, tape, mud, and sand to Level 4 by default, Level 5 in rooms with raking light or specialty paint.
Repairs and patches
Holes, cracks, water damage, nail pops, blown texture removal. Matched to the surrounding finish so the repair disappears.
Soundproof assemblies
Resilient channels, double layers of board with green glue, mass-loaded vinyl where needed. For theatres, music rooms, and bedrooms above basement suites.
Plaster repair
Heritage plaster repair using lime or veneer plaster over blueboard, hand-finished to match original walls in the Annex, Cabbagetown, Rosedale, and Forest Hill.
Specialty finishes
Lime wash, Venetian plaster, Roman clay, and tadelakt applied by hand by trade applicators we work with regularly.
Notes from the GTA
- We dust-contain every drywall job. Negative-air machines, zip-walls, and HEPA vacuums. Clients are routinely surprised by how clean we leave the rest of the house.
- Level 5 finish on a long wall under raking light is the difference between very good and exceptional. We will recommend it where the room warrants it.
- Heritage plaster is renovable. We do not strip it for drywall unless there is no other option.
Walls are the canvas every other finish hangs on. Treat them that way.
