Furnaces, heat pumps, and ducts that actually balance.
TSSA-licensed HVAC for residential and light commercial. Cold-climate heat pumps are now genuinely viable in the GTA — we'll tell you when one is right.
What we handle
Furnaces & combination boilers
High-efficiency replacements with proper venting and combustion air for the room.
Heat pumps (cold-climate)
Variable-speed units that hold rated output below –20°C, often paired with federal/provincial rebates.
Ductless mini-splits
For additions, garages, third floors, and rooms the main system can't reach.
Duct balancing & retrofits
Most older GTA homes have one cold room and one boiling one. Often fixable for a few hundred dollars and a manometer.
Ventilation & ERV
Tighter homes need engineered air exchange — we spec ERV / HRV against the actual cubic-feet-per-person load.
Notes from the GTA
- The Canada Greener Homes program and Enbridge rebates can take $5–10k off a heat pump install when applications are filed correctly.
- Heat pump sizing is more sensitive than furnace sizing; we run a Manual J on every job.
- Condo HVAC work requires building approval and after-hours mechanical access.
- Older Toronto homes' duct runs are often undersized — fixable during a furnace replacement, almost impossible to do later.
HVAC determines whether your home is comfortable for the next twenty years.
