Build · Waterproofing & Foundation Repair
Done once. Done properly.
Foundations leak for a small number of reasons, and almost all of them are fixable. Exterior membrane, interior drainage, sump, backwater valve, crack repair, and structural foundation work, all coordinated under one warranty.
What we handle
Exterior waterproofing
Excavation to the footing, foundation wall repair where needed, self-adhered or torch-applied membrane, drainage board, weeping tile in clean stone, proper backfill, and surface restoration.
Interior waterproofing
Perimeter drainage channel, dimpled membrane up the wall, sump and pump, for properties where exterior excavation is impossible.
Sump and backup pumps
Properly sized basins and pumps with a battery or water-powered backup and an alarm that notifies you if the pump runs more than it should.
Backwater valves
Sanitary backwater valves to protect against sewer backup during heavy rain. Installed with the Toronto rebate paperwork where eligible.
Foundation repair
Crack injection, parge repair, structural patches, and partial foundation replacement when the existing wall has failed past repair.
Notes from the GTA
- A leaking basement is almost always the result of one of three things: a failed exterior membrane, blocked or missing weeping tile, or a failing sump. We diagnose before we quote.
- The City of Toronto and several other GTA municipalities offer a rebate for backwater valve installation. We file the paperwork.
- Cheap waterproofing means doing one thing well. Real waterproofing means doing all four well at once.
Waterproofing is the line item we will not let a client cut to save money.
