Wellness rooms have become the most-requested signature commission in the GTA over the last five years. Done well, they replace a gym membership and a spa subscription for life. Done badly, they're a humid corner that grows mould. The difference is mechanical — engineered ventilation, properly drained finishes, infrared and traditional saunas built to spec, cold plunges plumbed to refill correctly. We design the suite around the regimen.
What we handle
Saunas
Traditional (Finnish), infrared, hybrid. Cedar, hemlock, or thermo-aspen. Klafs, Tylo, or custom-built.
Steam rooms
Tiled, glassed, with Mr. Steam or Steamist generators sized to the room volume. Aromatherapy injection optional.
Cold plunges
Stainless or tiled cold plunges with chillers, ozone or UV sanitation, and the right drain plumbing for genuine year-round use.
Home gyms
Rubber-mat or floating sport floors, mirror walls, full-size rigs, climbing holds, Pilates and yoga rooms with proper ceiling height.
Indoor & lap pools
Endless Pools, Vita Spas, or custom in-ground builds with dehumidification, water-quality systems, and surround flooring rated for splash.
Massage & treatment rooms
For owners who prefer the practitioner to come to them — heated floors, soundproofing, dedicated plumbing where required.
Notes from the GTA
- Indoor pools and steam rooms generate enormous moisture loads — the dehumidification system is the project, not the pool.
- Cold plunges require dedicated electrical and plumbing; we plan for both at the rough-in stage, not after the tile is set.
- Sauna installations require careful clearance to combustibles per CSA; we follow Tylo and Klafs spec, not internet guides.
- The mechanical room for a serious wellness suite is roughly 1/3 the size of the wellness suite itself.
